Look at this precious life growing within me. Isn’t she amazing?
Did you catch that? Isn’t SHE amazing. Yesterday, our little family went to the OB office together to find out more about the little one. At first, we weren’t sure if the baby would cooperate. She was laying in the exact position that I was in — with her legs crossed at the ankles. It reminded me of seeing Ellie sucking on her toes in the womb. At only 9 ounces, just 18 weeks gestation, this gift from God has a developing personality.
She seems more real to me now. Seeing her toes, her face, her hands waving as if to say hello has calmed all of my fears — she is alive and well.
