(and NO, I’m still not expecting…)
See that great little countdown clock over there?
Have you been wondering what it’s all about?
The timing of my shop launch could not be more perfect because it’s also the same day of our first football practice of the season. In five days, when the countdown is complete you’ll see a few changes around The Football Wife. I plan to make this blog easier to read, but also welcome a new addition to this site: The Football Wife’s OpenSky Shop.
I’m partnering with OpenSky to bring you great products for this reason: I hate the mall. In fact, I wasted four hours of my life there on Monday and left with pajama pants.
This is how I like to shop:
-
Where did you get that?
-
Do you love it?
-
And do they have it in my size?
Buying from people that you know and trust is the best way to shop, don’t you think? That’s why the only products that you’ll see in my shop are ones that I have personally tried & adore. I want to bring you products from smaller companies that you can’t find in your daily trips to the store for diapers & goldfish crackers — products that will make your life easier & look great, too!
Speaking of looking great, wait until you see what OpenSky sent me… Ooo, la, la! I think it’s perfect for our kickoff party or to wear to the stadium for a Saturday tailgate, but Coach thought one thing and one thing only: Are you going to wear high heels with that? Care to guess what it is? You could also wear it to church…
You’ll enjoy working with OpenSky — they are real folks and just to prove it, I’m going to be stopping by their headquarters in NYC tomorrow. They’re changing the way we shop online and I invite you to join me as a seller or as a supplier.
I hope you’ll join me this coming Tuesday to celebrate the launch of the shop and (of course) the beginning of another ‘Cats Football Season!

Yay! I’ve been wondering about the countdown clock. I can’t wait to see what you have in your shop.
Have fun at BlogHer this weekend! What a great experience. I can’t wait to read all about it.
Congrats! I bet it was fun to meet up with companies you love in NYC.
