This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Arm & Hammer.
When it comes to laundry stains, The Football House has had problems from the start. I married a man who has, on multiple occasions, managed to get salsa on the BACK of his shirt. Then there’s the time that he forgot to the put the lid on his red sharpie pen before returning it to his pocket. Of course, there’s that other time when it looked like he brought a muddy practice field home on his pants. Then I gave birth to his child and let’s face it … the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. She’s just as messy as Coach and loves to play in the dirt. By the end of the day, my daughter’s clothes are, in a word: disgusting! I can’t say much for my own clothes either — my toddler thinks I’m a human napkin.
Airing my dirty laundry…

Nasty, huh? Needless to say, our family was a bit excited to receive our package of Arm & Hammer + Oxi-Clean detergent. We clearly needed some stain removing power… fast! Coach opened the bottle and gave it the sniff test — “smells fresh!” We poured in a fraction of a capful and then tossed our defiled “Sunday Best” & grungy playground clothes into the washing machine. No pretreating, no stain sticks, just a cap of blue gel! And now, for your viewing pleasure…
Voila!

Good as new! No more stains!
If you want to save yourself from buying new clothes, I highly recommend that you pick up a bottle of Arm & Hammer + Oxi-Clean. Our clothes smelled amazing, our white shirts were FINALLY white again, & the food goobers were G-O-N-E. The Football House is sold — we’ll be scooping up another bottle on our next shopping trip!

ugh. I think time is my enemy when it comes to laundry. As soon as I think I’m done, I turn around and there is a completely full hamper ready to be washed. It’s just non-stop.
We like camping during Spring/Summer, kids get into mud and sand all the time. It was fun then but makes my laundry a big problem later.

Cooking and eating provides stains on an ongoing basis… and if I don’t see them right away so I can Pretreat them, it is not a pretty picture!
my number one outdoor-related laundry woe would be grass stains….ugh

I hate getting blood out of laundry – outdoor fun sometimes leads to scraped knees and elbows, it’s just a fact of life.

Mud and Grass are my worse outdoor messes
Pit stains for sure
For me it’s dirt/mud stains

Grass stains or oil/grease stains from the car are the worst
Our laundry seems impossible when we go to the park and run around with the dogs (mud, dirt, grass all over)!
Eating..gardening.. etc
I have two teenage sons and they like to work on motorcycles and cars, so we have lots of oil and grease stains!

Oh, Girl- all we have to do is walk out the front door and BAM! Grass stains.
We love art around here, and it seems that art supplies from my 8 year old are our biggest laundry woe. They’re everywhere on his clothes! amiedanny@msn.com
I love to free hand paint onto any surface and I paint and sell items to so even though I try the wear just certain clothes for painting I seem to get the paint on everything so I’m always having to pre treat to soak to get it out and arm & hammer power jel always does the job for me, thanks

The dirt stains I used to have to wash out of my son’s baseball jersey were the worst. Especially since his league rarely called any of their games. They frequently played in wet/muddy conditions and their favorite thing was to SLIDE into home base. You can just imagine the damage done to their pants.
Dinner-because my daughter has to have “dips” with everything. Which means, spots on the front of every shirt and on her pants as well.
The toughest stains and smells are on my son’s clothes after a Boy Scout camping trip. They are a combination of dirt, sweat, food and ashes from campfires.
My biggest laundry challenge? Hubby’s gym clothes!

Grass stains from when they play sports, especially my sons’ athletic pants!

Pretty much every activity outside causes my laundry pile to get bigger
I have 3 very active boys and a very messy husband.
grass stains are impossible for me
Deodorant stains are my laundry bane. Pretreating helps but…
Grass and mud stains from my boys playing out in the woods behind out home make laundry impossible for me!
We get incredibly dirty in the garden!
My kid’s karate gi looks gray instead of white!
Husband fixing my car
mowing the lawn.
Working on cars makes our laundry impossible. They grease, the odors from gas, and the stains. Yuck.

Laundry. Ugh. For us, it’s not the actual act of doing laundry or one of our activities that’s the issue, it’s the muddy paw prints from our rescued pony size dog that seem to show up on clothes, sheets, blankets, towels and sofa slipcovers. If it’s a washable surface that can be put in the washing machine, pony dog is there. Raising a dog makes laundry a challenge!
Living on a farm, I need all the laundry help I can get. Sign me up.
Hubby’s garden clothes are the worst! Count me in the giveaway.
Just living in our family makes laundry seem impossible. From all the clothes our new baby goes through each day to the boys football and baseball uniforms and my oldest daughter’s track uniform fighting stains and getting all the laundry done is a huge task.

Well my mother in law has a 106 acre farm.Well my husband, son and daughter love to take their red Honda three-wheeler and dirt bikes thru the mud and swamps. Of course, to them-the muddier it is-the more “fun”
which makes for horrendously muddy clothes

The act of eating causes most of my laundry. Who needs a food journal when you can look at your children’s clothes to figure out what you ate on any given day.
Just having two boys aged 15 and 5 makes laundry impossible! They seem to end up wearing everything they come in contact with from magic markers and grass to orange Oklahoma mud from the football/soccer/baseball field (on white pants no less)to breakfast/lunch/dinner and the “no need for a kleenex, I have a shirt” runny nose!
hiking. stains everywhere.
For me it would be gardening hands down. I always come in with a grass green bum! LOL
