I'm amazed at how kind you were. I wouldn't have answered the door, honestly...but I live in a not-so-good neighborhood in Nashville. There's a scam going on where people wander around telling people they "need bus money to get home" or to get to a church...it's always the same story and you'll often go back to the same locale and get the same scam. Then there are the people who wander around with gas cans, claiming to have run out of gas. You fall for it the first time and then you see them at that same location the next week, wandering with that gas can looking for money. What excitement! I’m amazed at how kind you were.
