Coach is grabbing a bus to Florida today for our first “very far away” game of the season. We considered going, but 7 hours in the car for 3 hours of play was difficult math for me. Two girls home alone — guess what we’re going to do?

Babycakes and I are walking in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure!
If there’s one thing this baby loves, it’s boobies.
We were asked by some other coaches’ wives in the area if we would like to join their team and we are excited to join them. The only thing we’re not excited about is waking up when it’s dark, traveling when it’s dark, & then taking the train into the city to be at the start line by 7:55 am. Yikes! Will it be worth it, you ask? Absolutely.
Prevention. Prevention. Prevention.
Mammograms save lives. They save lives like this one:

That’s my grandmother with a newborn Babycakes. She had breast cancer when I was a kid & went through painful radiation. Thanks to modern medicine and early detection, she is still with us today!

You make me so proud!! I love you both and I will be sponsoring those steps…every step is a reminder of the journey walked by many…remember Kay, Terry, Kerri, Judy, Mimi, and many others I’ve known and loved that have won and lost their battle with breast cancer. You go girls, and help “save those ta-ta’s”.
Awesome post! Love the sign!
Awesome post!! Go save those ta-tas! My aunt is currently undergoing chemo due to being diagnosed with breast cancer. She also had a masectomy. Way to make a difference for so many gals out there!
Awesome – way to go!!! I’ve teamed up with four of my fellow triplet moms and we are doing the 3-Day breast cancer walk in San Diego. Sixty miles > three days. I’m optimistic I’ll make the first 10 miles. Beyond that, I might have to pull out my roller skates!
It’s great to see moms and babies on a mission to save the ta-tas!! Good luck on your walk!!
