I don’t even know how I found your blog, but as the wife of a high school coach I applaud you. Granted, we don’t have the been fired or would be fired pressure as much, but the MMQB’s or parents that sit in the stand and whine about the coaching drive me insane. I find myself gritting my teeth and thinking many of the things you just wrote. Nice post.

Ah, just found your blog and read this post. My hubby is a high school football coach in a very small town. I found myself screaming AMEN to almost every word. Thanks for sharing….you are certainly not alone. Loved your blog!

Amen, Sister!!! Way to stand up for your man. No one understands what coaches deal with and sacrifice, unless they are married to one. Thank you for this post. I’m thinking about printing it, and passing copies around at our next game! (wink, wink!)

It’s no secret that I read a lot of different sources about my favorite team and this is one of my biggest pet peeves. I’m not a coach or even a coach’s wife, but it annoys the crap out of me when people who maybe played a few minutes of football back in high school act like they are smarter than an NFL QB or Coach.
This is probably why I enjoyed watching when a player or coach puts a member of the media in their place.
Sorry you guys lost (I’m assuming) Hope you get a W next week.
