Walk around my house and you’re likely to step on a toy or two. I never imagined that I would live this way — I had no idea that babies could be so horribly messy. I’ve had to embrace this new lifestyle because I don’t have time for rehab for my type A personality.
Babycakes will most times sit in her “playroom” and stack her rings or play with her little kitchen. Sometimes, however, she likes to get creative. Yesterday, I found Elmo in the bread drawer and then caught her putting a ball in the dryer. “Baaaah?”
And she is fascinated by the toilet. She wants to touch it. She wants to put her mouth on it. She wants to throw spoons inside the bowl. She has accomplished two of the three.
Babies are gross.
Coach is still learning to put his own toys away. He has a habit of leaving his work bag on the floor with the zippers wide open. This is very enticing for little curious people.

Coach went upstairs to take a shower this morning & left his bag on the floor…

Wires. Babies love wires.

Found — Doohicky with buttons.

Then her daddy busted her.
“Look, you’ve got Daddy’s $500 cowboy remote in your mouth.”

These pictures are too cute. It’s such a fun (yet exhausting) age when they start to get into everything.
