How you get here…

by Sara on June 16, 2009

This isn’t a post about the whys & hows of our existence… just a comical look at how folks find this blog.  Not surprising, the top search to find this blog is “football wife”.  Nothing too funny about that one.

However, the search “pictures of natural birth pregnancy” which brought a few people here is puzzling.  There is no evidence of such a thing on this blog!  It’s bad enough that Coach took a picture of my face after giving birth.

Remember this post?  Someone searched for “peyano school” & they found this picture drawn by a six-year-old.  What are the chances that it was a first grader that searched for a music school?  I suppose adults are using inventive spelling, too?

peyano tetcher

There are lots of pregnancy searches…  “24 wees pregnancy photos” (yes, without the “k”), “pregnant football”, “nurses delivering baby”, “six weeks pregnant”, “pregnant footballer wives”… I could go on.

Someone searching for “Bruce Springsteen piano lessons” was likely disappointed to learn it was just me & Coach at the piano bench

An intoxicated person searched with this drivel, “babycakes you just do know know”.  Huh?  Is this a song lyric?

Apparently there’s not much information out there about the Battle of Chattanooga“, because this blog was near the top of the list.   Did you enjoy our pictures, too?  We think the Yankees & Rebels should have fought less & hugged more.  You can’t fire a cannon if you’re too busy embracing the enemy.

Maybe someday soon, someone will google search “Help, my baby only slept for an hour & I was blogging instead of showering.  Now what?”  and guess what?  It will bring them here.

It’s totally sad that I can’t remember how I found this blog. I think I’ve pushed my brain beyond it’s limits this week and it’s gone on strike.
As for trying to get a shower while the baby’s awake. I used to put my Bella in the bouncy chair in the bathroom with me and get a quick 5 minutes shower. Better than nothing, right?
