My mom was the anti-birthday party mom. I actually threw my own 8th birthday party b/c she didn't want to. (It was a big success) As for turning 29, I'm not a fan. I feel like everytime I admit I'm 29 people think I'm like 33 or something. Then I moan to myself, NOT THIRTY-THREE!! Yeah, I might be a little melodramtic. For my birthday I went shoe shopping. I highly remcommend it. Also, I can't think of anything more wonderful then a pedicure with accompanying eyebrow wax. Nice warm wax...ouch what the... You are lucky.
