A visit from Little E called for a “time-out” from our regular Sunday morning activities & we loaded up the car and headed out for some fresh air & sunshine. There was plenty of sunshine, but the air isn’t so fresh when you’re visiting the Ranch! Ah, but it was worth it to get a little horse hair in your mouth & pet some llamas!

Babycakes had a good time, too. She enjoyed the wagon ride through the woods and pasture, but may have enjoyed it more had her dumb-bunny mother remembered a sun bonnet.

Up close, this big guy was awfully snuggly looking. He’s lifting his head to Coach who is just about to drop some food into his mouth. It was amazing to get close to so many animals, but like our wagon driver said,
“We don’t pet the Zebras. We don’t pet the Buffalo. And we don’t pet the Watusi Cow on account on their horns.”

The llama was Little E’s favorite. Plus, it rhymes with “mama” & that made her think of lots of things to talk about!

Even Little E’s imaginary friends “Ollie” & “Juju Lenta” had a great time!

As a wife & mother, I could totally relate to this family of ring-tailed lemurs. The poor mother had a baby attached to her everywhere she went & the Daddy was there to help out, too!
On our way out, we thanked our wagon driver who literally said…
