Recruiting season is finally coming to an end. Now Coach will tell you that he’s still recruiting into May, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s over! No more long weeks home alone with Babycakes & no more living out of the car for Coach. It’s a special time when you get your husband back – you can eat dinner at a “normal” hour, go to church together, & even get some help around the house. I’m nominating Coach for “Husband of the Year” — he has done more dishes in the last three weeks than he had previously done in his lifetime. He’s even changing diapers!
So, to celebrate the beginning of the end of recruiting season, I decided it was time for a little pampering for this football wife. Last night, after Babycakes was tucked in bed and Coach was watching U2 perform on the Grammys, I headed upstairs to the Economic Recession Spa. Hot water, lavender bubble bath, candles, and a glass of champagne… The hot water was so soothing, the candles created a beautiful glow that shimmered off the champagne flute, it felt like such a perfect moment. Until…

Umm… Can I help you?
